My Ringtone has NO Sound

See Instructions Below

What sound device do I choose if my computer doesn't
automatically detect it?

When you install the creator software we try to detect your PC's internal audio settings, but if we can't detect a Record Setting, you'll need to manually select it.

To select a Audio/Record Line:

  1. Open the Audio Controls link (Located on a Ringtone screen)
  2. Check to see what Record Options your have (see Examples below)
  3. For Creating Ringtones, Select: Wave Out Mix or StereoMix for the best sound.
  4. For Creating Voicetones, Select Microphone
  5. Create a 'Test' Tone in order to listen to the quality and volume of your tone.

NOTE: Sometimes when you 'Preview' your Ringtone it will have sound. But, if you 'Send' it to your phone and it has no sound, check your Record Settings. You most likely have no Record Setting available on your PC.

Examples:

In some cases, especially with newer Dell computers the Audio/Record Setting aren't available or detected.
Try going to Dell's site to download updated drivers

If you do not have a Wave Out or StereoMix Record Line, you may have
to Create Ringtones using a different PC. Try testing with other Record Lines.

Make sure you have selected the right Service Provider and
